Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis

Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis

Welcome to the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, otherwise known as CAM St. Louis.

This free admission museum was first established in 1980 and sits on Washington Boulevard within the Grand Center Arts District.

The museum provides guests with public tours that are 'designed to actively engage visitors in the art and underlying themes, ideas, and relevance to our lives'. You can take a public tour, reserve a private group tour, or participate in the daily 15-minute' Spotlight Tours'. If you have very young kiddos you will be delighted to know they have 'Stroller Tours' as well, 'crying babies welcome'!

While the exhibits change regularly, one thing you can count on seeing while here is quality, thought-provoking, beautiful contemporary art! There are regular public programs here at CAM as well, such as artist talks, guest speakers, and public forums.

Before you go check out the gift shop as well as the onsite cafe which serves up coffee, light bites, and cocktails.
