Country Junction
A shopping experience like no other.
How could you pass up the opportunity to visit the world's largest general store while in the Poconos?? Located in Leighton, Pennslyvania, Country Junction is considered to be the absolute largest general store in the world, a highly popular local attraction that sells unique gifts, novelties, home decor, seasonal selections, and so much more.
The fun thing about Country Junction is that it isn't all about shopping, there is also an onsite pet parlor and pet store, free petting zoo, onsite candy store (try the homemade fudge), free theater shows, onsite eateries, and even an onsite arcade and mini bowling. Talk about a lot to do!!
Start your visit with some shopping, then head to the Barn Door Restaurant for pizza, classic dutch PA dishes, or ice cream. Afterward, take the kiddos to the petting zoo (Pappy's Farm) or arcade/bowling area. There are over 40 games total in the arcade, from carnival-style to modern high tech games. The bowling is a scaled-down version of the classic game, with mini balls and only 6 lanes.
There are always special holiday events scheduled at Country Junction, the most popular being the Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival each fall. The Easter Bunny visits in the Spring, and Santa visits each Holiday season as well.
