Fine Arts Center at Colorado College

Welcome to the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College, the premier fine art destination in the region.

This historic cultural center holds a renowned American art collection, an onsite performance theater, and an art school with regular classes. The complex is celebrating 100 years this year (2019), beginning in 1919 as the Broadmoor Art Academy.

The museum itself holds 15 different galleries that include major international traveling exhibits, the highly popular Southwest Collection, and the impressive permanent collection that holds over 20,000 objects. You will see artists such as O'Keeffe, Chihuly, and Diebenkorn within this collection, plus works that showcase the 'rich history and vibrant contemporary cultures of the southwest and the Americas'. See Native American, Hispanic, Spanish colonial, and 20th-century American art all throughout!

Before you go check to see if there are any shows happening within the award-winning and critically acclaimed theater, catch a class at the Bemis Art School, or grab a bite to eat at the onsite eatery, Taste, which provides excellent fresh food and excellent mountain views!
