Golden Gardens Park

Golden Gardens Park

Seattle's Golden Gardens Park is the perfect place for your group to get out, stretch your legs, and see some of the most beautiful scenes in Seattle.

This 88-acre public park sits within the Ballard neighborhood and is comprised of wetlands, beaches, hiking trails, picnic areas, and children's playgrounds. The park is divided by the BNSF Scenic Subdivision Railway Line. It was developed first in 1907 as a 'Sunday Outing' attraction for the community, something that obviously stuck, as this attraction is still highly popular with locals today.

Golden Gardens Park 'draws outdoor lovers for the Puget Sound, Olympic Mountain views, and trails' not to mention the rugged coastline and sandy beaches of the restored northern beach. There is a fishing pier and boat launch among the 300' shoreline, as well as plenty of options for beach recreation, such as beach volleyball.
