Guadalupe River Park

Guadalupe River Park

Welcome to Guadalupe River Park, the small San Jose city park located along the banks of the Guadalupe River. Making a 3-mile ribbon extending from the heart of downtown to highway 280 in the south, this park system is the perfect place to 'recreate, relax, discover, and enjoy'.

Onsite you will find a Visitor and Education Center, a playground, a community garden, and 2.6 miles of trails to ride, walk, run, or skate! There are regular events here as well, such as live music and festivals, public art displays, and various adult and family workshops. These workshops range widely in subject, with examples such as Sustainable Vegetable Gardening, Flower Arranging, Yoga, and Birding.

One of the greatest things about this park is that you can take a break from the urban-dense city front of San Jose and sit back and enjoy the trails, gardens, plazas, and wildlife watching opportunity here without even leaving the city. Be sure to save some time to see the Heritage Rose Garden, Historic Orchard, Courtyard Garden, and 7 Sister City Seating Areas while here!
