Honda Center

Honda Center

Welcome to Anaheim’s Honda Center, the indoor arena that supports the National Hockey League in the form of the highly beloved Anaheim Ducks. This arena was originally built in 1993 as a part of a $123 million project, an astounding addition to the city that has paid off well since then, seeing over 35 million guests total since opening its doors. Here are a few more impressive numbers to help you get to know the Honda Center:

  • 650,000 square feet total make up the arena
  • 82 feet from the highest seat to the floor
  • 27 feet tall and 47 feet wide is the official measurement of this year's new scoreboard
  • 130 palm trees line the property

This arena can hold up to 18,000 guests at once, something that it does very often with sold out shows. As a matter of fact, the very first show here was a sold out Barry Manilow concert! Since then this arena has seen several more hit shows, concerts, and various sporting events, the total standing at 3,500 events to date. Big names such The Who, Rolling Stones, and Katy Perry have performed here in the past, not to mention all the amazing athletic teams who come through. The Harlem Globetrotters entertain here often, and aside from the Ducks duking it out with rivals such as the Florida Panthers, the Honda Center also sees various major basketball tournaments frequently.

There are some top-notch eateries within the arena to check out during your visit or big event, such as the Shock Top Terrace, Standing ‘O’, or Jack Daniels Old No. 7 Club. Your student group will really enjoy this excellent tour or entertainment opportunity, trust us!
