HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology

HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology

The HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology is a genomics-based research center with a goal of improving human health and wellbeing. Based on 4 core principles of Education, Research Driven Discovery, Clinical Care, and Entrepreneurship, this 152-acre research campus will make a great STEM-based stop for your students.

Holding some of the world's leading scientists, entrepreneurs, and educators, HudsonAlpha likes to share its talent and put biotechnology into the hands of students, our future scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians, and does so by providing Educational Outreach and Campus Tours.

Educational Outreach programs provide students with various hands-on, lab-based field trip opportunities, each of which will teach them quite a bit about the future of STEM. Tours are meant for students/guests ages 12 and up and last about 90 minutes each, starting off at 10 am in the Atrium.

(The Atrium also holds a cafe for your convenience).
