Independence After Hours Tour
Get ready for a truly unique 1776 dinner experience with Independence After Hours, an evening tour and meal within Philadelphia's Historic District landmarks. Your group will be joined by colonial costumed characters as they 'bring history to life right in the place where it happened'!
The tour starts at the Museum of the American Revolution and in total will take you about 4 city blocks. This is a seasonal tour that happens each May through October only.
Start your evening with a 3-course meal at the historic City Tavern, with entree options including turkey pot pie, beef bourguignon, palliard of salmon, or chicken tenders for the kiddos, then sneak into Independence Hall after hours and witness the founders deep in discussion over the Declaration of Independence. This realistic journey back to 1776 creates an 'exclusive, unforgettable experience', the only tour of its kind!
