Kennywood Park
Welcome to Kennywood Park, 'America's finest traditional amusement park', located near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Kennywood first opened in 1899 as a local trolley park attraction, boasting over 120 years of innovation and connection within the community. Today there are over 30 rides within the park, from wooden and modern coasters to waterslides and kid's rides.
Among the 8 coasters onsite you will find Phantom’s Revenge, Exterminator, Sky Rocket and The Steel Curtain, the latter of which is the feature ride of Steeler's Country, a themed area inside the park dedicated to the Pittsburgh Steelers. There are also 14 total kiddie rides within the park, many of them in another themed area inside called Thomas Town (Thomas the Train). There are several live show options throughout the park, the shows featuring magic, musical performances, and character appearances. Additional park attractions to enjoy include the 90-foot tall Black Widow thrill ride, 1936 Noah's Ark house, 4D Theater, Park Trolley, and thrilling SkyCoaster.
When you work up an appetite you will have plenty of onsite dining and snack options, as well as group picnic, boxed lunch, or catering options. Some of the restaurants you can choose from include End Zone Cafe, Potatoe Patch, Pedro's, Parkside Cafe, and Johnny Rockets.
