Welcome to La Palmera, the indoor and outdoor superregional shopping mall located along the shopping corridor of South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi.
This popular shopping center hosts over 100 mainline stores pus 3 main anchor stores, the latter being Dillard's, JCPenney, and Macy's. The center first opened in 1969 and has since expanded into the 1 million square foot supercenter you see today.
Shop store favorites such as American Eagle, Francesca's, Forever 21, MAC Cosmetics, PINK, Vans, and more during your visit, then settle in for either a nice sit-down meal with the group or a quick bite to eat in the food court before you go. There are plenty of dining options that fit a wide range of tastes and time constraints. Spend more time at places such as Dave and Buster's, Grimaldi's Pizzeria, or Longhorn Steakhouse, or just split up and grab a quick bite of what you'd like at the food court or various treat stands throughout the mall.
If you happen to be traveling with a performance group you will want to plan this mall trip ahead of time so you can use the free performance venue opportunity here at the mall, The Stage at La Palmera Cafes. Even if you aren't a performance group, this stage will give you the opportunity to see others putting on a show during your visit!
There are oftentimes community events happening at the mall to be aware of, especially around the holidays (Santa's arrival is a pretty big deal here!).
