Welcome to the Liberty Science Center, the 300,000 square foot learning center located at Liberty State Park, on the Jersey City bank of the Hudson River (next to the Statue of Liberty).

This massively educational and entertaining science center holds so much to see and do your group could spend an entire day here! Check out the main features:

There are always several temporary exhibits, like the current exciting choices of The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes and The Lion Guard, as well as permanent exhibits, of course. Check out the Touch Tunnel, the 80-foot dark tunnel meant to force you to rely on your other senses, the iconic Hoberman Sphere, or the Dream Machine sensory experience.

Of course, you can't leave the Liberty Science Center without seeing a show, the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium boasting a resolution of 88 million pixels, 281 trillion color capability, and 30,000 watts of sound. See shows like To Worlds Beyond, One World One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure, or Black Holes, or perhaps head over to the LSC Giant Dome or 3D Science Theater for more show options! You can watch a real-time weather simulator within the Weston Family Lab for Space and Earth Exploration, as well!

Over 750,000 students, teachers, and parents take advantage of this center annually, with special onsite Lab options, as mentioned before, as well as Scout Weekends and Performance Group options. There is an onsite eatery, Cafe Skylines, on the 2nd floor serving up sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, salads, etc, and there is even a gift shop here as well!
