M.R. Ducks

“M.R. Ducks (them are ducks), M.R. Not (them are not), O.S.A.R (oh, yes they are), C.M. Wangs (see them wings), L.I.B (well I’ll be) M.R. Ducks (them are ducks)." - M.R. Ducks

Grab a delicious bite to eat, enjoy unbeatable sunset views, take a narrated nature cruise, or stay the night on the bay all with M.R. Ducks!

M.R. Ducks is a local business that owns and operates M.R. Ducks Bar and Grille, Talbot Street Inn, M.R. Ducks Apparel Shop, and Talbot Street Watersports. They are stationed at 311 Talbot Street, on the Bay.

The M.R. Ducks Bar and Grille provides a unique charm to guests, this gazebo-style bar built right over the water, allowing you to stay cool and enjoy the best views. The eatery first opened in the 1980s for the convenience of the Talbot Inn guests and fishers returning to the bay each night. It became a popular local watering hole quickly and hasn't lost any steam yet. The name of M.R. Ducks comes from a funny little poem from the past in which two duck hunters have a conversation (see quote at the top of the page).

At the grille, you can order crab balls, dock tacos, famous M.R Duck dogs, surf and turf burgers, shrimp salads, and much more. The eatery opens the first good weather weekend in April and closes the last week of October, providing live entertainment during the peak summer months.
