Welcome to the self-proclaimed 'Capital of Cool', the highly popular street and shopping district in South Beach Miami, Ocean Drive.

Art Deco historic district by day, shopping and entertainment mecca by night, Ocean Drive is the 'linchpin street in setting fashion trends of Miami' (Miami and Beaches), this area providing locals and guests alike with all the finest in fashion! Over 30 designer brands can be found here, such as Armani and Guess, and even more commonly found ones for the younger crowd like Uggs and H&M. South Beach itself is already known as a popular arts, fashion, culture, and entertainment hub, and Ocean Drive only adds to that title by being an 'edgy fashion mecca since the late 1980s'.

In 1988 News Cafe made its debut, and shortly after Gloria Estefan invested in the local Cardozo Hotel. Both of these places rapidly gained popularity, and the neighborhood started booming with bars, restaurants, and shopping opportunities. Here is a bit of a breakdown on the two main parts of Ocean Drive:

  • SoFi District - Upper Ocean Drive from 12-15th Street. Quieter at nights.
  • Lower Ocean Drive - Club central. Visit Nikki Beach Club, Story, and Mango's Tropical Cafe.
