Oregon Museum of Science and Industry

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is the premier science and technology museum in Portland founded in 1944. The actual museum site opened in 1992, however, the organization behind the museum saw its humble beginnings in 1906 when it held a national resources exhibit at the City Hall Museum. The Museum of Science and Industry strives to inspire curiosity through engaging science learning and experimentation, a dedication to learning that has brought over a million visitors to campus. This museum is actually one of the top science centers in the United States, with an international reputation for interactive exhibits and educational programs.
