Philadelphia Orchestra

Philadelphia Orchestra

One of America's "Big 5" orchestras, the Philadelphia Orchestra is known as a continuous and gloriously melodic base of audio-artistic renderings with a record for world-class concerts. Playing over 130 concerts annually at their home Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and also Verizon Hall, the Philadelphia Orchestra is one of the foremost cultural attractions in the city, perfect for any group outing.

Not only is the Philadelphia Orchestra a preeminent U.S. orchestra but one of the top in the entire world. Under strict artistic leadership, the orchestra has been internationally acclaimed for its attention to sound, amazingly stable direction, and the perfection of their renditions.

Concerts range in style and sound from the compositions of Rachmaninoff to Beethoven's Eighth, from the string section to organs. Themed concerts are scheduled around holidays such as the Halloween Organ Extravaganza and the Glorious Sound of Christmas. Many know and understand that music is another, a more melodic form of storytelling and the Philadelphia Orchestra performs several "storytelling" concerts such as Play Us A Story: Peter, the Wolf, and Friends among others.

Whatever your group dynamic, be it an educational trip or recreational, the Philadelphia Orchestra is sure to entertain, enlighten, and expand your senses through the timeless art of music.

PS, Did we mention how fun this orchestra is? What's the update on those Eagles jersey's over in New England, by the way?
