Located in the Central Corridor of a bustling, desert metropolis, Phoenix Art Museum has opened doors to world-class exhibitions, its comprehensive collections, and meaningful moments of learning and connection for 60 years.

Welcome to the Phoenix Art Museum, the largest art museum in the southwest United States that boasts over 20,000 objects and over 300,000 guests per year.

This highly impressive art museum holds a collection of acclaimed art that spans from the Renaissance to the present, providing access to visual arts and educational programs for nearly 60 years now. See 'art of our time and historical objects that illuminate the distant past' during your visit, with several regularly changing exhibits ready to be viewed, discussed, and devoured.

There are 10 main Collections offered here at the Phoenix Museum of Art, including the following categories: Asian, Contemporary, Fashion Design, Latin America, Modern, Photography, European, Thorne Rooms, America, and Western America. The best way to explore them all is by taking a daily guided tour, a free interactive hour-long tour that provides a unique glimpse into the art, artists, and history of the museum. There are also special tours offered randomly, such as the Museum Highlights Tour, as well as private/customizable group tours available for a reservation anytime.

If you happen to work up an appetite during your visit save some time to stop at Palette Restaurant, a gorgeous onsite eatery offering up fresh and delicious foods overlooking the beautiful Dorrance Sculpture Garden.
