Roosevelt Row
'...where arts thrive on restaurant walls, painted murals, and gallery exhibits.'
Welcome to the Roosevelt Row Artists' District, Phoenix's 'home of impressive murals, award-winning galleries with rotating exhibitions from renowned artists, incredible local restaurants, boutiques, and more.'
This nationally-known arts district boasts one of the finest scenes of art, culture, and cultural events in the southwest, the district fondly called 'RoRo'. There are over 100,000 new visitors to this creative district each year, the district itself extending from 7th Avenue to 16th Street. Roosevelt Row has a long-standing history as a vital mixed-use area, seeing everything develop within from booming businesses to high-rise neighborhoods, to the more recent art gallery boom.
During your visit to the district, your group will be able to find unique gifts, delicious meals, trendy outfits, and, of course, plenty of art, the 'creative pulse unlike anywhere else' everywhere you look. Visit Roosevelt Row Merchants, Hot Box Galleries, Roosevelt Row Market, and so much more! We highly suggest you visit RoRo on a Friday, with something special taking place each Friday of the month. Our favorite days are First Fridays, in which the nation's largest self-guided art walk takes place from 6 pm to 11 pm. This event is so popular that it has recently been recognized by USA Today as “The Top 10 Arts Districts in the US.”
