Six Flags Great Escape
Welcome to Six Flags Great Escape, the theme park located in Lake George, New York. Lake George is approximately 3.5 hours north of New York City, and about 5 hours east of Niagara Falls.
This super fun amusement park holds rides and entertainment fit for all ages, with thrill rides like the 4,200-foot long Comet coaster to the family-friendly Alice in Wonderland ride. We suggest thrill seekers check out the Condor high altitude spinner ride and the Sasquatch 192-foot tall tower drop. This year (2019) Hurricane Harbor waterpark opens up under its new name featuring rides and slides such as the Alpine Free Falls slides and Banshee Plunge tube experience.
Outside of the rides themselves, you will also be able to experience fun entertainment, shopping, and dining. Meet the characters of Timbertown for a Dance Party or check out the new show A Pirate Adventure, then head to any of the unique shopping experiences such as the Western Shop and Leather Treaty. As far as food options go, you will be able to choose from All-American fares, light and healthy options, ice cream, Italian, Mexican, and concessions/snacks.
If you'd like to extend your Six Flags Great Escape experience head to the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge and Indoor Waterpark. This Adirondack Lodge provides waterpark fun, an onsite restaurant, a massive arcade, and fun room options like the Klub Moose Suites.
