With over 1 million guests per year enjoying the first-class views and onsite amenities, it's no wonder the Table Rock Welcome Centre is considered a 'must-visit' during your Niagara Falls grand adventure.

Located on the Canada side of the falls, this retail and observation complex sits on the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, several hundred feet south of the former rock formation for which it was named. This centre opened in 1926, though the very first museum/center dedicated to Table Rock was created in 1827 near this site.

Table Rock itself was a large, flat slab of rock that jutted dramatically from the top of the gorge wall. The formation partially collapsed in 1818 a then continued to gradually deteriorate until 1850, when it fully came crashing down, a man and his horse narrowly avoiding falling with it whilst cleaning his carriage, so the story goes.

Today visitors enjoy a multi-level indoor observation area called the Grand Hall, several outdoor covered walkways and overlooks, and a series of shopping and dining options inside. Spend time at the Table Rock Market, Table Rock Shop, Table Rock House Restaurant, and other various onsite amenities such as the Digital Attraction photo services, onsite ATMs and First Aid Stations, and entrance spots for the Journey Behind the Falls and Niagara's Fury.

There is truly no better way to 'experience the thrill of watching 2,800 cubic meters of water come crashing down'!
