The Second City is an improv and sketch comedy brand that hosts nightly shows in any of it's 3 major locations: Toronto, Chicago, and Hollywood. This production troupe has been around for over 50 years, touring the world with comedy shows and launching countless comedy careers, including many blockbusting actors you see today and most of the original cast of SNL.
Toronto's Second City Theater, located conveniently downtown within the entertainment district, will have your group in a laugh riot by the end of the show, each night hosting a different group, theme, or show. There are also classes available at the nearby training center, an opportunity your students can take part in if there are any drop-in classes during your visit. You can also take online courses before or after for some extra insight. Some of the classes include topics such as Stand Up StoryTelling and Public Speaking Music Improv and Improv A-E.
The theater can hold anywhere from 15-300 guests, has special group pricing and seating, and offers dinner/lunch packages as well at nearby eateries.
