War Eagles Air Museum
Dedicated to collecting, restoring and displaying historic aircraft of World War II and the Korean Conflict eras.
Welcome to the War Eagles Air Museum, the unique history museum that pays special tribute to military aviation and 'reminds us all of the significant roles the airplanes, their pilots, and support crews played in securing our freedom'.
This museum is located at the Dona Ana County Airport in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, just about 30 minutes away from downtown El Paso. During your visit, your group will experience the sights and sounds of high-powered machines, most of them still in flying condition and putting on shows for guests. There are also educational programs, exhibits, and special events that help preserve the heritage of and promote pride in our country.
The exhibits you will see within the spacious 64,000 square foot display building include Aircraft, Automobiles, Military Equipment, and Special Exhibits such as the El Paso Aviation Hall of Fame, Downed Aviator, Salute to Women in Aviation, Tyler Francis Children's Center, and Vintage Gas Pumps. The aviation you will see represents the warbirds of WWII Era and jet fighters from the Korean conflict and beyond. You will be able to catch a glimpse of the P-51 Mustang, P-38 Lightning, P-40 Warhawk, F-86 Sabre, and much more.
