Wonder World Cave and Park

Wonder World Cave and Park

Wonder World Park is more than just an amusement park. Here you can tour the state’s first show cave, opened in 1903, look out over the surrounding landscape from an Observation Tower standing at over 110 feet tall, visit the Anti-Gravity House and test the laws of physics, and ride through Mystery Mountain to the Wildlife Petting Park. You don’t want to miss this true wonder of a park!

Wonder Cave opened in 1903 to present the public with a stunning geological wonder. Guided tours of the cave focus on the Balcones Fault Line and the Great Texas Earthquake with information on the geological structures found in the cave. See the fault line in the cave’s ceiling, boulders suspended above your head, and fossilized prehistoric life embedded in the walls.

Wonder World Park also features a rare look at wildlife and up-close encounters with the animals. Ride in a covered vehicle through Mystery Mountain, be splashed by the waterfalls, and arrive in the Wildlife Petting Park where you can feed the deer and observe other creatures as they mill about the area. The feed is available at the general store along with many other interesting artifacts and souvenirs.

Rain or shine, tours will commence. The cave is protected from the weather and all other attractions are covered so inclement weather does not affect tours.
