Day 3 You’ll See:

The Clearwater and St. Petersburg area of Florida is often overlooked in lieu of nearby Tampa Bay, but we absolutely LOVE sending student groups here! Holding what many different publications consider to be the #1 beach in America, as well as several museums, natural sites, and fun city shopping and dining, Clearwater truly is a vacation paradise, and we think your seniors are going to love it!

Day
1

Celebration Station

Start your Clearwater adventure at Celebration Station, the local amusement park that features bumper boats, a two-level arcade, mini golf, go karts, batting cages, kiddie rides, and an amazing onsite American eats restaurant. Spend your morning and/or afternoon letting loose and having fun!

Clearwater Marine Aquarium

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is the local sanctuary dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of sick and injured marine animals first opened here in 1972. While here your students will learn plenty of marine conservation information, plus they will get to meet the star of the blockbuster film Dolphin Tale, Winter. See how Winter has adapted to life with an artificial tail. Also check out Shipwreck Alley, Dolphin Terrace, Rufus Beach, Turtle Bayou, Shark Pass, and so much more!

Day
2

Sea Screamer Cruise

Get ready for a thrilling ride aboard the world's largest speedboat, the Sea Screamer! This 72' long boat gathers speeds of up to 35 mph on its deep-V hull, zipping through the waters in a thrilling, yet completely safe way. With this cruise, you will not only be able to enjoy the experience of being aboard an exciting speedboat, but you will also have the chance to watch dolphins play in the wake!

Pier 60

After you've made your way back to land enjoy some time at Pier 60, the highly popular 1080 foot fishing pier and recreation park that holds a bait house, picnic areas, and regular events within the park. This is a great place to sightsee, people watch, shop, and grab a bite to eat for lunch during the day (and fish, of course), and a lively entertainment spot at night when the Sunsets at Pier 60 nightly festivities begin. 2 hours before and after the sunset you can come here and enjoy great foods alongside interesting buskers and crafters looking to entertain!

Clearwater Beach

White sand, clear waters and endless recreation and relaxation await at Clearwater Beach, the 2.5-mile long barrier island strip sitting on the Gulf of Mexico. There are plenty of activities to choose from here along the Beach Walk Promenade, from water-related recreation to shopping and dining, as well as unbeatable viewing vistas at Pier 60.

Day
3

Busch Gardens Tampa

Finish your time here in Florida in Tampa Bay at Busch Gardens, the world-class theme park that began as a hospitality center for Anheuser Busch in 1959. At first, this location was a modern take on traditional German beer gardens, then over 55 years, it has grown into a 335 acre, African-themed, wildlife, and recreation mecca. Your group will be able to spend the day enjoying the various thrill rides and learning all about the wildlife here, this whole park a kind of amusement park mixed with a zoo!
