Day 1

Airborne Park Speedway and Go Karts - Get ready to have a thrilling and intensely entertaining day at one of the oldest tracks in the Northeast, the Airborne Park Speedway! This destination is the number one family entertainment spot in the North Country, nestled deep within the picturesque Adirondack Park near Plattsburgh. Here your group will find a state-of-the-art 4/10th-mile D-shaped asphalt oval with progressively banked corners, a perfect example of great racetrack engineering. This track is home to some of the most exciting Saturday night short track stock car racing action in all of North America! Enjoy the NASCAR sanctioned open-wheel modifieds, sleek and modern late models, old school renegades, and 4 cylinder mini modifieds throughout the speedway, there is non-stop action everywhere you look! Be sure to check out the exciting Go Kart Fun Track every Friday and Saturday, a place where your group can let loose and have some fast paced fun, from junior racing series to professional racing. Race like the pros do, explore car shows, and watch thrilling competitions, all only miles away from the greatest dining and shopping in Plattsburgh! The Lake Champlain views and Green Mountain vistas surrounding the park aren’t half bad either!

Day 2

Kayak Shack -Located just minutes from Saratoga Springs, the gateway to the awe-inspiring Adirondacks, your group will find a diamond in the rough at the Kayak Shack. This extremely fun, relaxing, and thrilling all at the same time destination will allow your group to enjoy the natural beauty of the landscape while having loads of healthy fun! It’s the perfect place to relax, get outside, and do something new with your friends and family, and it’s even easy on your pocket book! Once here your group will have to tackle the difficult decision of whether they would like rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, or canoes. The kayak choices are seemingly endless, allowing rentals of up to 40 boats, with either single or double seating. Take advantage of the many lessons offered, the small classes making for perfect individual attention in the waterfront park and paddle location. Your group is going to thank you for this stop!

Bluff Point Lighthouse - The only lighthouse on Lake Champlain to be on the National Register of Historic Places is located here on Valcour Island, the Bluff Point Lighthouse. This lighthouse is situated 95 feet high on a promontory on the west part of the island, a beautiful structure built in 1874. With its help, ships were guided through the narrow passageway between the island and New York shore for over 60 years, making it a highly important maritime, cultural, and coast guard historical site! Once here your group will get the chance to see several small static displays that work to interpret the lighthouse and surrounding areas. Take a look at the 5th order Fresnel lens, Iron tower, amazing architecture, information on the lighthouse keeper's family and life, and important geology and ecology information about the island you won’t be able to get anywhere else!
